EUPHONIUMS & BARITONES

What are they?

Even though Euphoniums and Baritones look similar, they are not the same instrument.

Euphoniums are part of the Tuba family.

They have a wider bore and a more conical flare compared to the baritone .

They are able to be played in both treble or bass clef in Bb.

Baritones are part of the Saxhorn family.

They have a straighter bore compared to a euphonium and can be pitched in Bb.
